July 2006
The summer is upon us. Despite the fact I managed the heroic task of reading Dicken's The Old Curiousity Shop in three and a half days I was unable to turn up to discuss it. It would seem others had similar problems and the turnout matched August of last year. A glorious two!I was given the deciding vote between Lionel Shriver's We Need to Talk About Kevin and Kazuo Ishiguro's Never Let Me Go. I decided on the latter as Lionel's a boy's name not a girl's.
